No More Empty Pots, a nonprofit rooted in North Omaha, offers programs and services that emphasize self-sufficiency, regional food security, and economic resilience. Building on their achievements at the Florence Food Hub, they are extending their efforts to The Greenhouse, expanding access to fresh foods and fostering educational and career opportunities in the Highlander neighborhood.

The Micro Market is a neighborhood storefront dedicated to delivering high-quality, local products to the Highlander neighborhood. When you shop at the Micro Market, you can immerse yourself in unique flavors and stock up on your favorite goods, all while supporting local artisans, farmers, and urban growers.

Tuesdays: 10 AM – 6 PM

Wednesdays: 10 AM – 6 PM

The three-level, 18,000 SF facility features various interactive spaces such as:

Micro Market to distribute locally procured food and artisanal products
Training Room to host workforce training, ecosystem building, community workshops, and resource sharing
Distribution Center to package and distribute local food from farmers and artisans
Commercial Kitchen for culinary workforce training and rental opportunities for entrepreneurs
Science Lab to foster academic and career pathways in scientific fields, citizen science projects, and local product testing
Greenhouse to accommodate year-round food production with hands-on education and training
